Grab your water boots and enjoy walking down (or up) steam with each other. Have a picnic and enjoy the sunny day.

The River
Get yourself some waterboots, a hot dog, and a fishing pole. Don’t eat hot dogs. This date may sound strange…but the best creative ones are. And they make lasting memories. So find yourself a shallow river, put on your water boots and start walking. Walk across the rock, stop and build a dam, hunt for worms, and find yourself a nice picnic rock. Here you can roll out your blanket, settle down and listen to the stream and enjoy some great conversations.

Activities
Show your woman you know how to hunt. I know fishing is boring, but it becomes extremely fun helping your woman to hook a worm. However, if she can’t do it, you have a back up hotdog. Fish around the rocks, see if your dam helped catch anything. You’ll have a blast. When you are shopping, you may even look for a little craw-dad trap and use that around the under side of your picnic rock and see if you catch anything.
Hint. Watch some man vs wild before you go. You may find that you need a knife and learn how to eat a raw fish…who knows.

In North Carolina there is a nice stream, but we didn’t have waterboots and we wanted to cross it. So we gathered some surrounding brush and tree limbs and made ourselves a small little dam/bridge. It was good for one use. But we had a blast walking down the side of the river bank and listing to the water, enjoying the sun. You’ll have a blast too!
